From 10 years ago this weekend comes the 1999 Superbowl commercial for monster.com...
Both funny and sad back then, today the irony is unintended...
When I grow up
I want to file all day
I want to claw my way up to middle management
Be replaced on a whim
I want to have a brown nose
I want to be a yes man
Yes woman
Yes sir
Coming sir
Anything for a raise sir
When I grow up
When I grow up
I want to be under-appreciated
Be paid less for doing the same job
I want to be forced into early retirement
...because for lots of folks today, filing, being under-appreciated, even being paid less for doing the same job would be a step up.

This would NEVER work in Cape Coral
...but it must be true, it says so on the interweb!
"I was going to build the Gazebo on the edge of my dock down by the lake, but I thought I might just as well build the deck with floats on it and then I can take it out fishing too. Has 15,000 pound capacity. ...
... The deck is 18ft x 18ft with 12 plastic foam-filled dock floats that are 4ft x 4ft by 18 inch high and the Gazebo is 10 ft. Hexagon with a table and chairs inside. Under the table is my trolling motor so I can take it out to my favorite fishing hole. The trolling motor is wireless remote controlled so I can be fishing outside and operate the motor. On the top of the table I have a LOWRANCE Fish-Finder with depth sounding sonar and temperature gauge. I have 2 electric winches with 40 pound anchors... and I've also built in a water pump so I can clean the fish right on the spot. Now I can relax and fish while my wife can sit and relax..."

Slice of Life
The term "center console" has several definitions, but this is what I am talking about... a fishing boat where you can freely and easily walk around the center console:
That's Dexter's boat. It is exactly the boat I want... except for the bags of body parts.
The trailer is made by Pacific, but I don't need a trailer. The (mismatched) motors are Evinrude, that I don't care about.
Just the hull... who made it?

Dexter is a Miami police blood spatter expert, so of course he named his boat Slice of Life.If someone can tell me the brand name of that boat, I will be eternally grateful. Otherwise, I'm going to have to buy the DVDs and keep hitting the pause button.
