Everyone ( yes, even Rush :) agrees that the preexisting exclusions, plus some other things, need fixing. And they can be, for far less money. Plus some things Obama isn't doing, like allowing competition across state lines and tort reform.
It's the *other* stuff in HR 3962 that folks object to... it's not a health care reform bill, it's a government control bill. As such, it goes too far... by a trillion dollars or so. It makes for fascinating reading, in an Edgar Allen Poe kind of way... give it a try!
Like page 92, the "Kiss Your Current Plan Goodbye" clause :)... just one among oh so many.
Having a daughter with a preexisting condition that's been screwed by the existing healthcare system already, all I can say is yes yes yes.
